Georgie at front of house is fantastic, super friendly, lots of fun and seems to know everyone who walks past, although he seems to be able to entice nearly everyone to stop for a drink and a great time. Drinks are great and sooooo cheap during the seemingly never-ending happy hour (€2 for a large beer, 2 cocktails for €7 - except mojitos at 2 for €10, and well worth it).
We missed this place for the first week of our holiday which is my single biggest regret of the trip as we've been back every day since we found it)
Great atmosphere, somehow it's super-relaxing while also being fun.

My friends and I spent a week here in maspalomas and we spent 80% of it here. Friendly staff, cheap drinks and great vibes. If you're a party person this is definitely the bar to start the night at.

I was at the Rondevous bar one evening and I have to say, I was really disappointed and disgusted. The waiter, a bald man, came to us completely sweaty with the drinks, and his sweat actually dripped into our cocktails – that’s just disgusting and totally unprofessional.

To make matters worse, I saw a cockroach swimming in my friend’s glass. On top of that, it seemed like drugs were being used openly in the bar – something I’ve never experienced before in any bar.

The restrooms were a disaster too: dirty, unhygienic, and completely neglected. The staff clearly doesn’t put in any effort.

This bar is definitely not recommended. I won’t be going back and I advise everyone to save their time and money.

Tutte le volte che veniamo al Yumbo ci passiamo.
Prezzi sbalorditivi:
cocktail a 7 € (2 bicchieri), birra a 2,5€ mojito a 5 €. Cosa si vuole di più.

Ah si l'ambiente, è come una famiglia, tutti parlano e ridono con tutti anche se non si conoscono o parlano lingue diverse.

Servizio: impeccabile quattro persone a modo ed educate. Che se anche non ti vedono da tempo ti riconoscono e cercano un posticino a sedere per te e il tuo gruppo.

Grazie di esistere, il bel soggiorno in Gran Canaria è anche merito LORO.

yesterday 22/03/25 we went to Rendezvous bar where I had a very bad experience and it ruined my night. I found a cockroach in my cocktail, showed it to the bartender, and was accused of putting it in there myself. I didn't want to pay for a cocktail with a cockroach in it and I was threatened that the police would be called if I didn't pay, to which I said ok. we argued for a long time until the bartender said they had cameras. I wanted to see when I "put a cockroach in the drink" 😀 after that the attitude of the waiter changed. perhaps he himself realized that the situation was so strange and why a customer would carry a dead cockroach around to put it in a drink. we paid for the drinks, even the one with extra protein, and off we went! I will never go back there. I myself work in the same field, I can never imagine that I would start blaming and threatening the client instead of finding a solution.

Wish i could give 10 stars. This place is jus fabulous. Friendly greeter, friendly staff and the prices are unbelievable. We assumed that 2 cocktails for 7€ would not be up to much, but they were all perfectly crafted, and very potent.
If you're a beer drinker, then its €2 a large jug. We've been here 3 nights running. Best bar in the Yumbo.

Buena música y bien de precio. Las medidas bastante buenas. Lo único que se echó de menos es que los camareros no se ponen mascarilla ni cuando te van a atender. Por lo demás bien. Recomendable para una buena salida nocturna en pareja o con amigos.

Visited a number of times while on holiday and certainly would again.
The staff were friendly and attentive - although they’re even more friendly if you’re young and female!
Drinks were good and strong! Especially the fruity daiquiris - try one, cherry was my favourite.
The only downside was the number of people smoking!
