I don’t usually go to Italian restaurants in Tenerife because I often end up disappointed. Unfortunately, this time the marketing was much better than the reality.

We started with a watered-down Spritz and poor-quality olives. The wine wasn’t served at the proper temperature, and I was surprised that the man was served before the woman.

The cream overpowered all the other flavors, and apart from the focaccia, I didn’t enjoy anything. To make matters worse, I’ve had a stomach ache since last night, and I still have it today.

I would describe myself as a gourmet and have experienced the cuisines of around 100 countries. I would assess the food in this restaurant as average, despite what appears to be a high level of ambition – an ambition that, in my opinion, is definitely not fulfilled.

The “Vitello Tonnato” was a daring creation with espresso. This was followed by a Tuscan-style dish in which the dough base could not be cut properly with a knife. I will not even go into the individual ingredients in detail; as a composition, it simply did not appeal to me.

The spaghetti dish with red scampi was also disappointing. The sauce was bland, the spaghetti were so al dente that they almost had to be chewed, and the total amount of scampi was only around 15-20 g – essentially one scampo with a sashimi-like character.

Another pasta dish with lobster I would rate as satisfactory. The lobster itself was acceptable, but the sauce served with the pasta was again rather bland.

Overall, the restaurant did not meet the expectations suggested by its concept and presentation.

Visited again tonight after first eating here in February
Totally different experience tonight unfortunately.
In February we were recommended the beef Tagliatelle which was absolutely delicious.
So we were excited tk have it again .Totally different so we asked if the chef had changed and were told no.We were told people had complained there was not enough meat in the dish so they had altered it .The beef tasted like stewed beef not nice at all .Such a shame because the staff are lovely and polite but it has put us off going again.

.. Qué fantástico almuerzo tuvimos en Vecchio el domingo. Mi último almuerzo antes de una operación importante, y me quedé sin palabras.
Ver la producción de pasta a través de una ventana es parte de la experiencia gastronómica. La cocina está liderada por Riccardo Della Bella y el menú es muy completo: no solo pasta fresca, sino también segundos y entrantes increíbles.
Nos atendió Eli, súper profesional, quien nos recomendó un vino natural espectacular. La pasta con erizo de mar fue una de las mejores pastas que he comido en mi vida, por no hablar del pan y del milhojas de postre.
La carta de vinos también merece sus 5 estrellas. El maître sommelier Javier es, sin duda, uno de los mejores que tenemos aquí en Tenerife.
Un saludo a todo el equipo que está detrás de este proyecto. Se nota el amor, la vocación y la pasión en cada detalle.
