The Coconut Club is a charming, unpretentious find nestled among the larger-than-life clubs and beachfront bars of Barcelona. While it may not be the most avant-garde venue in the area, it is consistently reliable and highly functional for a night out.

​One of its biggest draws is the relative affordability; the drinks are priced very reasonably compared to its neighbors, making it a great spot for those looking to enjoy the beachfront atmosphere without the "premium" tax. We ended our evening here, enjoying a few well-made drinks and dancing to a solid selection of tunes from the DJ.

Ο καφές δεν πινόταν, η εξυπηρέτηση άθλια: περιμέναμε είκοσι λεπτά σε τραπέζι στον εξωτερικό χώρο, μέχρι που αναγκάστηκα να πάω μέσα για να παραγγείλω. Στην ερώτηση μου γιατί αυτή η αργοπορία και ενώ δεν είχε κόσμο το μαγαζί, η απάντηση ήταν ότι είχαν πρόβλημα με τα ποτήρια!!!
Να προσθέσω το γεγονός ότι ήταν ειρωνικός, αλλά δεν μου κάνει εντύπωση διότι δεν θέλουν τους τουρίστες.

Madre mía. Nunca he visto a una camarera más desagradable y con menos ganas de trabajar. Fuimos ayer tarde, cuatro personas. La camarera cuando intenté hablar catalán me miró con cara de asco, así que nada, en castellano. Le pedimos las bebidas e iba como enfadada para dentro y para fuera del bar. La llamamos para pedir de nuevo y parecía que nos estaba haciendo un favor. Los precios para estranjeros, por supuesto. Un desastre.

A general warning for this bar, if you're planning on attending I highly recommend getting in early. After about 12:00am the bartenders pick and choose who they want to serve. I stood in line for 15minutes, eventually had people pushing Infront of me and never once was served as the bartenders were also busy flirting with girls half their age. Disappointing to say the least, get new bartenders that understand service.
