We went to Little Andaman, a modern Indian spot in Barcelona, with my wife and two friends. Quick caveat, we're Indian and have eaten at some of the best Indian restaurants in New York City, London, and India itself, where we travel regularly, so our bar for Indian food is very high, take this review with that in mind. I got the Dakari cocktail, which was a little sweet but refreshing and tasty. We ordered a bunch of small plates to share. The Vada Pav was excellent, the bread was light and airy but beautifully toasted, and the vada inside had great flavor and good crunch. The Uttapam was pretty good too. We also got a couple of chicken dishes that were excellent, plus a vegan version of the chicken chettinad, which was spicy with a good kick, though honestly I'd just get the chicken version next time, I'm not a big fan of dishes originally built around meat getting converted to vegetarian, it rarely does the dish justice. The Chowringhee croquettes, a beetroot and carrot cutlet, were really good, nice crunch and flavor. The Podi Idli was maybe a touch dry but still a solid dish overall. We also had chicken skewers with pineapple chimichurri and tamarind chicken, both very good with well judged portions. To share we got butter chicken naan and mushroom naan, both good. Overall it's a strong modern Indian restaurant in Barcelona, definitely elevated compared to your average tourist Indian spot, but for us it doesn't quite compare to what we've had in New York, London, or India. If you're craving Indian food and want a good, elevated meal with a solid mix of dishes and cocktails, I'd recommend it.

Experiència perfecta per gaudir d’un bon restaurant de menjar Indi. Vam estar realment agust, amb un servei impecable. La relació calitat/preu no pot ser més coherent. El menjar exquisit, traslladant-nos amb sabors típics de l’India. Molt recomanable.

Buen restaurante hindú con una propuesta diferente. Cocina costera y tapas indias con muy buena elaboración. El local es espacioso y muy acogedor. Servicio atento y cercano. Un pequeño pero es que algunas raciones son muy justas. Volveremos para seguir descubriendo su carta.

Menu abundante y bueno. Cenamos un grupo de 7. Servicio muy lento con pocas explicaciones, quizas porque hablabamos mucho. Nos sirvieron en un principio agua filtrada en botella abierta y unos nachos que posteriormente nos cobraron y ascendio todo a 27 euros que se sumaron al resto de la cuenta. Trato desganado de la jefa de sala

Vaig anar a sopar entre setmana amb un grup molt gran ja que era un event literari i érem moltes persones.
Només puc que elogiar l'eficàcia del personal, en especial de l'Annoushka (si ho escric bé) I dels cambrers. Així com el menjar servit, boníssim! I unes racions molt generoses.
El local és preciós, ben climatitzat i organitzat.
Ja tinc ganes de tornar un altre dia a provar més coses del menú!

At Little Andaman, I chose the menú del día and really enjoyed the experience. The menu introduced me to flavors inspired by South Indian cuisine, offering a nice change from the more common North Indian dishes. Everything was well seasoned, fresh, and full of flavor. My only suggestion would be regarding the portion sizes, as they felt a bit small for a set lunch menu. Even so, the quality of the food and the opportunity to explore a different side of Indian cuisine make this restaurant well worth a visit.

Simplemente: UAU! He ido dos veces y he salido encantado. También quien me acompañaba. Los platos están muy bien presentados y son buenísimos. El servicio también es excelente. Son muy comprensivos y cuidadosos con los alérgenos y me asesoraron siempre muy bien. Un sitio muy recomendable. Y el espacio está muy bien planteado.
